SAINT ROCH YMCA (3A.1 CASE STUDY)

This case study was focused on the building structure and connection details for the Saint-Roch YMCA, located in Quebec. The building was primarily comprised of steel W-section beams and columns, as well as open-web steel joists. The beams and columns were discovered to be connected with gusset plates, and the diagonal members acted as shear resistance on the higher levels.
