NATIONAL MUSEUM OF AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY AND CULTURE (2A CASE STUDY)
Our objective was to select a building with an interesting facade and research its materials, structure, and facade. All the models found below were created with Revit and Lumion Pro Student.
The building is mainly comprised of steel trusses (50mm horizontal, 300mm vertical), 4 central concrete columns, 1200mm x 875mm aluminum panels, and the 3 trapezoidal tiers that were inspired from a crown on the Yoruban Caryatid.
Project Date: February 2021
